Laura

Hello everyone,

My name is Laura and I'm living in Switzerland since 2020. I'm 27, I come from Spain and I'm currently studying my second master in the Musikakademie Basel.

My love for animals comes from a very young age. I've been a volunteer in a refugee for animals since I was a kid. This "job" taught me so much about how to care for animals with trust issues, how to provide medication to animals and above all how to deal with a dog in fear. Since I moved here I don't go there anymore, but I've started a new journey taking care of different dogs. I learn a lot from the dogs I work with every week. I learn about their behaviour and their needs, and it makes me especially happy to see how after a while I become part of the ‘family’.I currently have one year of experience in ‘individual dog care’ - weekend care at the owner's home, walking, wound care etc. and several years of shelter experience.

I am a friendly, empathetic and above all responsible person.
